The ramp is heavy duty, well made and does well to get our wheel chair (with a 100 lb patient in it) into the kitchen area. However, the bottom surface of the ramp is rough and had gouged our newly laid pine flooring, despite the fact that we tried to shied the floor from damage by putting duck tape on the bottom edges of the ramp.Seems to me that the ramp should come with a stick- on- tape acessory.
